Tennis Overload is an independent tennis and padel website created to make technique, training, tactics and equipment easier to understand.
The goal is simple: provide clear, practical and honest information that helps players improve their game and make better equipment decisions. Whether you are learning the basics, competing regularly or trying to choose your next racket, Tennis Overload is designed to give you a clearer path forward.
Meet the Person Behind Tennis Overload
Hi, I’m Manos, the creator and editor of Tennis Overload.
I’m from Greece and have been playing tennis for more than 10 years, including competitive tournament tennis. I have also played padel for about three years. Racket sports, especially tennis, have been an important part of my life, and I created Tennis Overload to share that passion with players around the world.
My playing experience helps me understand the questions players face when developing their technique, preparing for matches, choosing equipment and trying to improve consistently. I aim to turn complicated subjects into useful explanations without relying on unnecessary terminology or presenting one method as the only correct solution.
Why I Created Tennis Overload
Tennis and padel information is often more confusing than it needs to be. Technique advice may lack practical application, equipment specifications can be difficult to compare and product recommendations do not always explain which players they are actually suitable for.
Tennis Overload was created to bring these areas together in one accessible resource.
The website is built around the belief that players should understand why something may work for them, not simply be told what to buy or how to play. Every guide aims to explain the relevant factors, possible trade-offs and intended player profile so readers can make more informed decisions.
What You Will Find Here
Tennis Overload covers the different areas that contribute to becoming a better and more informed player:
- Tennis and padel technique guides
- Training, fitness and movement advice
- Match tactics and mental-game topics
- Rules, scoring and tournament information
- Tennis racket, string and padel racket reviews
- Equipment comparisons and buying guides
- Interactive racket, string, grip and tension tools
- Structured digital training guides
The content is written for beginners, recreational players, improving club players and competitive players who want practical information they can apply to their own game.
How Equipment Reviews Are Created
Not every product reviewed on Tennis Overload is personally playtested. When a review is research-based, this is stated clearly in the research disclosure displayed on the page.
Research-based equipment reviews are developed using manufacturer specifications, official product information and independent research. Construction, materials, dimensions, technologies, intended player level and model version are examined before the product’s likely characteristics are evaluated.
Performance descriptions and ratings in these reviews are editorial estimates based on the available evidence. They should not be interpreted as personal playtest results or laboratory measurements.
When reliable information cannot be confirmed, it should not be presented as an established fact. Older and discontinued products can be particularly difficult to verify, so available information is assessed carefully and updated when stronger evidence becomes available.
You can learn more about this process on How We Research and Evaluate Equipment.
Technique and Training Content
Technique, training and tactical articles are informed by my experience as a long-term competitive tennis player, established coaching principles and additional research where necessary.
No single technique works identically for every player. Playing level, physical ability, grip, equipment and individual style can all affect how a particular movement or tactical approach should be applied.
The purpose of these guides is to help readers understand the important principles and common mistakes. They are educational resources and do not replace individual instruction from a qualified coach who can observe your game directly.
Our Use of AI-Assisted Tools
AI-assisted tools may be used to help organize research, compare information, improve structure, identify inconsistencies and support the editing process.
These tools do not replace human editorial judgment. I review the content before publication and remain responsible for the final information, recommendations and corrections published on Tennis Overload.
Affiliate Relationships and Editorial Independence
Some pages contain affiliate links. If you purchase something through one of these links, Tennis Overload may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate relationships help support the cost of operating the website, but they do not automatically determine which products are included or how they are evaluated. Research findings, product limitations and suitable player profiles should be presented honestly, even when a product has an affiliate purchase link.
Any sponsored content or commercial relationship that could affect how readers interpret a page will be identified clearly. More information is available in the Affiliate Disclosure.
Corrections and Feedback
Accuracy matters, especially when equipment models, specifications and technologies change between generations.
Pages may be corrected or updated when new official information becomes available, a manufacturer changes a product or an error is identified. If you notice something that appears incorrect, outdated or unclear, please contact me so it can be reviewed.
You can reach Tennis Overload through the Contact Us page or by emailing tennisoverloadcontact@gmail.com.
The Mission
Tennis Overload exists to help players understand their sport, choose equipment more confidently and find practical ways to improve.
The aim is not to promise instant results or pretend that one racket, string or technique will work for everyone. It is to provide transparent, useful information that helps you make decisions based on your level, goals and playing style.
